 When we talk about using a celebrity's effect, a lot of people think that would cost a fortune in order to make it happen. It would be a lot of financial pressure for a new or small company. However,  the cost of advertising via social media, as opposed to traditional TV advertising is much lower and thus advantageous to small companies. There are people that can be considered celebrities, because of their status on social media platforms, having enough followers or listeners turns a wide variety of personalities into celebrities. The more followers they have, the bigger any advertising through them will be.

Marketing producers should take the opportunity to become a "sponsor" to these popular content creators and internet celebrities. To be a sponsor to an online celebrity can be as direct as asking an online celebrity to make special content featuring sponsored products; such as images, videos, and written reviews. A sponsor can also ask a sponsored personality to simply use a product in their daily life and incorporate the product indirectly on their social media. The celebrity effect helps to increase a product's credibility, and as a result, increase sales. The followers and fans that follow a celebrity take notice of the products they are using without being told directly to buy the product. Thus, this strategy focuses on making potential customers out of the followers of an internet celebrity.  These are effective and simple ways to expand your product awareness.
